Twitter, It’s not just for breakfast anymore

Its been an exciting week for me starting work at PagePoint. Lots of fun web stuff and social media marketing projects. The social web has reinvigorated my enthusiasm for my marketing career and I was quite happy to be joining a company that is working with clients embracing the potential of social media, but I was surprised to learn that many clients are still resisting Twitter. while embracing Facebook.

How-to Tutorial for Creating a Facebook Business Page

500 million people are on Facebook. They spend more time on Facebook per day than on Google.

It's time for you to get your business set-up with a Facebook business page and we have a quick tutorial that walks you through it step-by-step.

IE 8, inline elements, and positioning

IE 8 is an improvement from it's predecessors, which isn't saying much when one of those happens to be IE 6. Still, working with Microsoft's latest browser installment has freed up some time usually spent banging my head against the keyboard. That is, until I tried to get fancy with an anchor tag.

Go Local- with Social Media

Are you on Yelp? Foursquare?
Do you think you need to be on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube?

Facebook LIKE! Add it to your site

Facebook is now the most visited website (overtaking Google about a month or so ago). So here we go, for you and for me: Once you go to the widgets page, choose the Twitter Link widget.

SocialOomph.com

I just read about a tool that lets you plan not only your Twitter posts (like HootSuite.com) but also your Facebook account. The good news with HootSuite is that it's free but so is SocialOomph.com for the Twitter piece. They do charge you for the Facebook scheduling and many other pretty cool looking features. There is a free 30-day trial for the professional version however. Here's a link to check it out (full disclosure, I did just sign up for an affiliate account): SocialOomph.com

Here’s a brief overview and introduction to how it works! Google Adwords can be a powerful way to reach your target audience. Some of the key benefits to a Google Adwords campaign include:
